Street Food Festival in Sistiana Bay | April 11–14
For the very first time, Sistiana Bay — Portopiccolo’s charming neighbour — hosts the Street Food Festival: three days of delicious discoveries by the sea. A relaxed and fun atmosphere, with live music and flavours from across Italy to enjoy between the sea and the Karst.

Spring at the Castle – Duino | April 12–13
The Castle of Duino welcomes spring with its 16th edition of Primavera al Castello: Open-air artists, local crafts, music and performances for all ages. Spend a weekend surrounded by culture and nature in one of the most scenic corners of the Gulf of Trieste.

Flea Market – Piazza San Rocco, Aurisina | Every third Saturday of the month
The brand-new Piazza San Rocco comes alive for the very first time this Saturday with the launch of a charming flea market. Organised by “Cose di vecchie case“, this monthly event brings together vintage treasures, antique finds and curiosities in a genuine Karst setting.
Bold Creative Writing Workshop – Portopiccolo Art Gallery | From April 27
There’s still time to sign up for our bold creative writing workshop: five Sundays of playful and subversive storytelling, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Portopiccolo Art Gallery. A total of 10 hours of inspiration for €150.
